Barbara J. Burns
With over twenty-five years in event and sports management, Barbara is the CEO of BurnsGroup Unlimited. Based in Atlanta, Georgia she travels nationally and internationally, depending on her client needs. Her expertise in communications, public relations, marketing and promotions has crossed from the corporate environment to sports, music, television/film and charity organizations.
Prior to founding BurnsGroup, Barbara began her career in sports in marketing and promotions and later moved into television production. During the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, she held a venue management role for the games. Barbara has also worked for a motorsports facility and honed her writing, editing and design skills during desktop publishing’s early days.
Barbara’s key clients have included GM (Cadillac), Dodge, SunTrust Bank, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, American Cancer Society, CBS and ESPN.
